"The TuffSkin film on my countertop is a life/game changer."
When I selected my quartzite countertop, I absolutely loved the look. I went with a matte finish for a modern look. The natural color and the veins are stunning, but I had no idea how painful the maintenance and upkeep would be - especially with the matte finish. It is so susceptible to staining (especially oil), and as someone who loves to cook, using my kitchen was just stressful.
I cook a lot of healthy meals, so I don’t use much oil or butter, but if I got any material on my counter (besides water), I had to immediately clean it up. Within a week of my kitchen renovation, I noticed spots on my backsplash from cooking and sautéing. I even ended up putting up plexiglass cutting boards all over my counter in an attempt to protect the surface - and it was so unsightly.
When I had guests over, I was constantly hovering to clean up any spills. I had several coffee rings, stains from simple syrup during cocktail mixing - just the normal course of entertaining. I cleaned my counters multiple times a day and had them sealed several times.

The TuffSkin film is almost invisible - and unless I point it out, no one can tell. The stain finish maintains the matte look of my gorgeous quartzite counters. I can now relax and utilize my kitchen without worrying about stains from normal use. After cooking, I just take a cloth and wipe away any splatter - no stress.
I am finally able to enjoy my renovated kitchen and entertain without worry. I would highly recommend this product.
